Chris Hoad

Chris is a sound artist and designer working in education based in Devon, United Kingdom. Alongside working with young people, Chris spends most of his time working with various mediums in a small 400 year old workshop. This can happen when he's not looking after a toddler and a Wheaten Terrier.

Chris began his professional life with a grassroots music venue, which later went on to be awarded NME magazine's 'Best Small Music Venue' in 2012. From there, the majority of his time has been spent working in Theatre, Education, and on his own works.

Education:

Chris attained his MMus in Creative Sound Technology at Bath Spa in 2019. His BA is in Digital Music and Sound Art.
